Good day siblings in Christ,
Tonight at 7:00 p.m. we begin a new series in our Bible study on the Gospel of Mark (unless there are other ideas). Mark will be next year’s Gospel for our Sunday morning readings, so it may be interesting to go through the whole Gospel and its uniqueness.
On September 18, we will have a worship service to acknowledge Indian Boarding Schools. The official day of recognition is September 30 and individuals are encouraged to wear orange. You are invited to wear orange on September 18 as well. The service comes from the American Indian Lutheran community with a few of my own additions in it. It is a representation of what Native American Lutherans bring to the table. There are not many of us, but we are here.
Sunday School will be starting shortly. Jamie is once again our Sunday School leader. We are so grateful. We even have some younger members just starting out.
We are gearing up for a tag sale on October 8! Donations can begin soon and there will be a sign-up sheet for those who can help on that day.
