Thank you all for electing Lee Ann as the Synodical Deacon at Our Saviour. It was a unanimous vote and, as of Saturday, she will officially have the title of Deacon Lee Ann. A wonderful joy!
We will celebrate her call and her setting aside on Sunday following worship with a very special coffee hour. I hope you can join the celebration.
Lee Ann’s setting aside service will be streamed on the Metro NY Synod Facebook page at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. There is a group going to the service which others could join.
Bible study will resume tonight on Google Meet and a recorded version will go live on Thursday as of 6:00 a.m. on our Facebook and YouTube pages. This week’s topic is- “How has the Bible been used to keep women down?” There are only 2 more lessons in this series after this lesson.
