Events this fall

Good day siblings in Christ,

We continue the season with gratitude for all the musicians who have been filling in. I am so grateful we have music weekly, and Joe, Larry, and Eleanor have been doing a fantastic job. Phill continues to heal and we continue to pray.

According to the Village, there will be road construction on Cleveland Drive. While I have been assured it will not interfere with church goings on, if it is like yesterday where there were seven trucks parked in the circle and surrounding streets, we may need to take caution during the week.

On the first Sunday of October, Croton Caring will join us. We want to give thanks for their continued work in the community and our ongoing partnership. They will be hosting coffee hour.

This Wednesday, Bible study resumes with a study on Job. We have been looking at the wisdom texts of the Old Testament and Job is one of those texts. Lets see how it compares to Ecclesiastes and Proverbs.

The first Christmas Fair meeting is coming up. We are only nine weeks away from the Christmas Fair, so we begin planning.

Deacon Lee Ann has sustained a hand injury, so there will be no yard sale in October. We are going to focus on the Christmas Fair.
