Phill Greenland, Music and Choir Director, started with us in 2019.
Phill grew up in Florida, studying musical theater at Edison State College. He moved to New York City in 1990, where he became Youth Music Director at Central Presbyterian Church and subbed for more than a few 1990s Broadway musicals you’ve never heard of. Beginning in 2001, he served as Director of Music at The Church of Gethsemane and Choral/Theatre Director at Bishop Ford High School.
Phill moved to the Adirondacks in 2008, where he served as Director of Music at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, before returning to NYC in 2012 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Most recently, Phill served as Director of Music at Oak Tree Presbyterian Church, and as piano and theory instructor at The Institute of Music, Third Westminster Presbyterian Church.
