Good day siblings in Christ,
Oh boy! We had a great time last night going around the Harmon area caroling last night. There were 3 instruments to accompany the 17 people who went caroling. A HUGE thank you to John and Laura Keil for organizing this great event. John has been working on the caroling booklet all year and it definitely showed. He had the music for all musical lines. Amazing.
We had a wonderful matching donation to our Christmas Fair total! This means, as of last Sunday, our total is $5,101! I know more came in through the week. We give 30% to local charities, so this is not just for Our Saviour, but for our neighbors as well.
We are offering two opportunities to worship with us during Christmas. There is Christmas Eve at 7:00 p.m., which will feature special music and communion. We will have a Christmas Day service as well. Larry has graciously volunteered to play on that day. This is a looser service, where you can wear jammies, Santa hats, and come to sing and rejoice. That service will be at 10:00 a.m. The annual Lessons and Carols service the Sunday after Christmas is up in the air right now and we will play it by ear.
After December 31, we may have to make some adjustments to our office hours. If we have a new office administrator, we will have hours as normal. If we do not, Pastor will be covering the office, emails, calls, and bulletin creation. Please be patient. We will be having a computer transfer the last week of December as we also switch to Windows 11. Thank you to Bryan and John for getting us a new computer, as our older one is no longer supported.
