Good day siblings in Christ,
Happy New Year! I hope your celebrations during the holiday season were joyous and comforting. Those who were with family, I hope that time was special and rewarding. Those who were home, I hope there was comfort and coziness with a bit of hygge thrown in.
It is a new time in the congregation as well. As of last week, I took over as office administrator until we find a new person. Things will be very different during this time as I have to balance being a part time pastor and now a part time office administrator. We are looking for someone new, who can work 8-10 hours a week, so if you know anyone, I can send a job description their way.
This means office hours are new and only from Monday through Wednesday. Phones and emails are now being checked by me, so things may be slower than before. Sorry about that.
One person has asked about a newsletter already and I can try to put one together. It may be digital only, but I can give it a shot. If you have articles to submit, please send them by Wednesday of next week. Thank you.
There will be a celebration for Melanie on January 18 during the coffee hour. The council has a host lined up and will have a plan regarding a gift shortly.
January 6 will be a conference-wide Epiphany service at Grace Lutheran Church in Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. Come join us for this special event.
There will be no communion on January 11 as Pastor Johnson will be at Trinity, White Plains and Deacon Lee Ann will be leading worship at Our Saviour.
