Holy week begins this Sunday with Palm Sunday:
- Palm Sunday, March 24: Worship 10:00 a.m. The funeral for Barbara Henninger is at 1:00 p.m.
- Maundy Thursday, March 28: Worship 7:00 p.m.
- Good Friday, March 29: Worship 7:00 p.m.
- Easter Sunday, March 31: Worship 10:00 a.m.
There is a congregational meeting on April 14 after worship. There is a single agenda item and that is to call Lee Ann as our deacon. Her setting aside ceremony is on April 20 at 2:00 p.m. at St Peter’s Lutheran Church, Huntington Station, NY. It will be streamed online. There does not seem to be any limit to how many can come. I will already be there for an ordination at 10:00 a.m., so if any want to car pool, please talk to one another. There will be a celebration at the church on April 21 for her.
Finally, there is Bible study tonight at 7:00 p.m. on Google Meet. The topic is on racism in the church. If you miss the live version, there is a lecture version posted on our Facebook and YouTube pages each Thursday.
