On Sunday, I shared I’ve been involved with bringing Dr Annie Kleinhaus to Croton to talk about her life through the Holocaust. She is coming in two weeks with a location to be announced due to security worries. We hope you can join the group for this special night. We do not have many first-hand account storytellers still living, so this is truly special. Registration is required (see below).
We had a question on our Facebook page about it being appropriate for kids. My reply was this is a first-hand account about the holocaust and it is tailored to adults, so judgment will need to be applied. On one hand, a first person account will be shared and, on the other, it is a real account and the holocaust was horrific.

Here is information about the event:
A Personal History by Holocaust Survivor, Dr. Annie Kleinhaus
Saturday, March 7 at 4:00-5:30 p.m. This special speaker event is brought to Croton as a collaboration of Cathy Deutchman, Khamla Erskine, Michelle Minoff, Pastor Justin Johnson, Rabbi Polish and Mayor Brian Pugh.
Annie Kleinhaus will share her personal account of survival during the Holocaust and beyond to lead a powerful, and in many ways, ground-breaking life. This is an opportunity to hear the lived experience of a Holocaust survivor, in a time of rising antisemitism in the US. What can we learn from history to improve our collective future? After her presentation, there will be time allotted for Q & A and discussion.
Registration is required. Please RSVP here to let us know you’d like to attend or with regrets.Location details (in Croton) will be sent out to registered attendees closer to the event date.
