For those who missed the announcement on Sunday, Lee Ann was officially approved by the deacon board. We are waiting for final instructions from the Bishop. Lee Ann’s new title (for the time being) is Deacon elect. The next step is for the council to outline her responsibilities.
Lee Ann will be set aside on April 20 in Huntington, Long Island. We do not have a time yet. It will be in person and live streamed. We are also waiting to see how many people can attend. Congratulations Deacon elect Lee Ann!
As shared by email yesterday, an online Bible study starts tonight at 7:00 p.m. on Google Meet. The topic is Unlearning Bad Theology. A video lecture on the same topic will be live on Thursday on our Facebook and YouTube pages after 6:00 a.m.
