Good day siblings in Christ,
I hope everyone enjoyed Holy Humor Sunday. It is a silly time and I was smiling from so many hats and costumes. The Assistant to the Bishop Nicole Schwalbe shared her thanks for inviting her. If you didn’t see, we were part of the Synod’s pictures this week.
As we look forward, we will return to our focus of having a little fun and getting to know one another better. We will have the return of Spiritual stories. I will be looking for a volunteer for April, May, and June.
We also will begin having discussion questions at the table during coffee hour. Of course, you don’t have to participate, but the hope is we get to tell stories we might not otherwise tell to get to know one another a bit better.
There will also be an Conference-wide Ascension service on May 14 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Luke’s New Rochelle. This is part of my hope as Dean to have congregational members get to know other congregational members and worship together. We are church together and siblings in Christ.
