Start of Bible study; “God’s Work, Our Hands” Sunday

Good day siblings in Christ,

There is a lot happening this week, so I hope you will join in some of the fun!

The first announcement is Bible study resumes tonight! I am going to attempt a hybrid approach to Bible study this round and hope the internet works downstairs. If you would like to meet in person, we will be under the Fellowship Hall in the big room. We will be studying the Epistle of James for 6 weeks and then will take a break. This will be a new approach with shorter sessions 5-7 weeks and then breaks. The hope is others will join for a few weeks. Class is from 7:00-8:00 p.m.

The other big announcement is this is the week where we will transition to YouTube for Sunday morning services. We will no longer be using Zoom, but we will be on Facebook and YouTube. There have been almost no viewers on Zoom for the last few weeks, so we are going to expand the congregation a little bit. We will break out Zoom for special services where families may want to gather, but for “regular” Sunday services, we will be on Facebook and YouTube.

Finally, this is the week for God’s Work Our Hands. The shirts are in, so please wear them on Sunday. There are a few special items on hand, but one of the biggest is the collection for Padres Hispanos Resource Center in Ossining. You have gone over and above for this collection, which will go to help those who are relocating to America. Thank you so much!

Be love,
Pastor Johnson
